Chemosh Upir I fighter is being worked on

 

Chemosh Upir I. First test flight of the unfinished prototype.

There is an Imperial fighter on our header logo. painted in blue. We decided to recreate that thing in game. Im not sure if it will be allowed to the Chemosh Ship Shop, as it is already a replica of someone elses's creation (this particular is a dev's one). We, as a faction, can still fly it however, especially in PvP and during the "Convoy Attack" events. 

The picture below shows how accurate is our replica of the imperial Spatha. We have taken the maneuver thrusters from the original one however, because we believe that it is not forbidden as it does not have any Empire colors on them and there is no Empire logo.

Because this ship is absolute trash in PvP and because it is in fact another person's creation, we will do our best to deform its hull as much as we can, and give it as much PvP usability as we can. We have already added a few more thrusters and wings and replaced almost all the panels with our iconic black ones.

In the end it should look as bigger and better Spatha-like sort of ship, which design was desecrated by the Chemosh fanatics.

We will continue our work on the Chemosh Upir fighter family, and in the end nobody will tell that it was build on the original Spatha design. It wont even look like one, however the obvious design inspiration source will be left there deliberately. This will not include the original parts and even size of the ship, however.
